7-Day Intensive Immersion Tai Chi Certified Instructor Training & Upgrading Retreat
with KRIS DEVA NORTH & ANAMARTA
Senior & Advanced Instructors, Tai Chi Union for Great Britain
There are no specific pre-requisites for Level 1 Training besides
an interest in Tai Chi. No experience is necessary for Level 1 as you will see below from the Outline Syllabus. Whatever your standard of Tai Chi, Level 1 Training will show you how to improve it, whether or not you decide to become an Instructor.
Meet Your Teaching Team
Kris teaches Tai Chi as shamanic theatre, celestial combat, rooted in Earth and played in the human dimension. Yang advances, Yin withdraws, Harmony prevails.
For Anamarta, Tai Chi is the essence of Feminine Empowerment, connecting with higher and lower forces on the spiritual path, for self-defense (see below!) or simply to harmonise with the environment and alleviate the effects of stress.
With combined experience of 40 years between them and expertise in the Healing Tao Arts, (which Tai Chi and Qigong are part of), teaching, management and events organisation.
Something special for this training will be the optional model we will be sharing of Tai Chi stick-fighting. Connect with your Inner Warrior!

TRAINING and SYLLABUS
The Teacher Training is an intensive 7-Day Immersion program. Whatever your standard of Tai Chi, this Training will improve it, whether or not you decide to go for your Instructor qualification. So you can tailor your own aims accordingly:
*** To attain a level of certification to teach Tai Chi
*** and or To enjoy a week of intensive learning, meeting like-minded people, making new friends, and laying a solid foundation for future certification.
Take a moment to look at what people had to say about this on the previous training:
With your Instructor Certification you will have gained the knowledge, skills and experience to find, recruit, inspire, train and certify Tai Chi learners, including the challenges of Group Dynamics and the knowledge to answer questions about origins, theory, practice and applications.
The aim of our Tai Chi Certified Instructor Training is to train, certify and upgrade outstanding Tai Chi Teachers by:
Providing inspiring and educational training in Tai Chi and underlying theory to a high standard of personal achievement;
Providing comprehensive instruction in the teaching, evaluation, assessment and certification of Tai Chi learners;

Our group from the last training
Our TAI CHI FORM: We practice a short (13-Movement, 4 Directions, Yin and Yang) Yang Family form evolved from Grandmaster Mantak Chia's Tai Chi Qigong and the Push-Hands from Master Lim of Penang, student from one of greatest Tai Chi Masters from the last century, Cheng Man Ching. Kris Deva North and Anamarta feel honoured to be part of this lineage and deeply grateful to their teachers. And of course to their students too, for the opportunity of sharing this Martial Art, Tai Chi, which literally means "Supreme Ultimate Force"; a way of living for them.
MEDITATION IN MOTION
Taoists consider Tai Chi as one of the highest forms of Moving Meditation, harmonising Yang and Yin, and Qigong as Standing Meditation, for grounding and rooting. Now you can have this too when you come on by to combine Moving Meditations for Fitness + Flexibility, Build Confidence, Recapture Lost Energy, Turn Stress Into Vitality, Inner Strength for Inner Peace!
I don't know if you have noticed that people who do Tai Chi seem to stand straighter yet more relaxed, move more easily with a kind of fluid grace? Have you wondered why, and how? Well, just reinforce the above: Tai Chi combines fitness, flexibility, and effective ways to manage stress while at the same time giving a fantastic energy boost!
You can watch it below!
