The Jade Circle is a group for women to explore Taoist practices specifically for women. Many
of these practices are described in Mantak Chia's book "Healing Love through the Tao: Cultivating
Female Sexual Energy".
We aim to bring these practices to life - facilitating your experiences in an accessible and
supportive way, in a relaxed, safe and friendly environment.
These practices are about recycling the energy that would be lost through ovulation - instead
the energy is used to enhance and heal your own life and being. The benefits are numerous. For
example, you may experience increased harmony with the processes of menstruation - periods can
become shorter, less painful and even pleasurable. More than that - sexual vitality and sensitivity
is increased.
At Level 2 the Jade Egg practices can help heal and rejuvenate the body - for example bringing back the
physiological strength and sensations that may have been lost through childbirth. Stress
incontinence can be minimised.
At Level 1 we cover the basics of the practices and at Level 2 delve deeper into more advanced practices of Ovarian Kung Fu - including Jade Egg exercises.
All women are invited to come on by the London Tao Centre, 68 Great Eastern Street London EC2A 3JT, 6.30 to 8.30 pm.
Donations welcome: £9, or £4.50 for Taoist practitioners and Zen School of Shiatsu.

I get my inspiration in the mother earth, in her essence and infinite resources, from the sea to the mountains,
from the moon to the sun; in my beloved partner Kris;
in my travelling around the world and in beautiful people and teachers.
The Taoist Practices guided me to continuing evolution and in my journey
share this gratitude with others and help the ones in need.
At an early age Anamarta became aware of the subtle energies and
her own ability to commune with Spirit. Her grandmother initiated
her into the family lineage of esoteric spiritual practitioners.
Then a Shamanika, recognising Anamarta as an evolved spiritual being,
began mentoring her on the way to self-realisation in this, the mundane dimension.
In her travels to broaden her spiritual experience, Anamarta's
exploration of the tantric path led to a meeting with Kris Deva North
and entry into formal Taoist training. She has developed a profound
knowledge of the women's Taoist practice, and also trained with the
Taoist Master Mantak Chia, Saida Desilets the Jade Goddess, and the
Indian spiritual teacher Usha Sharma at her home in the Himalayas.
Her personal practice includes Crystal Healing, Yoga, Belly Dancing,
Chi Kung and Tai Chi integrating the spiritual essence of these
practices into her teaching.

I remember first practicing meditation and yoga in 1980. It was much later,
in 1992 that I discovered Tai Chi and it awakened in me a passion for
exploring the interconnectedness of life through the human energy field
and to make yoga and meditation a part of my daily routine. In 1996,
I followed my (late) tai chi teacher's instructions to learn about
human anatomy and the energy meridians.
Since 1999, I have taught Yoga fused with taoist and buddhist meditations and Zen Shiatsu .
In my classes, I encourage self-awareness, breathing more consciously
and structural integrity to enhance health, well-being, strength and
flexibility. In 1997, I attended my first course at the London Healing
Tao Centre and since then have continued to explore Taoist practices.
I have enjoyed participating in the Jade Circle, exploring the beautiful
and mysterious practices of cultivating female sexual energy.
There is something potent and transcendental in connecting to our
passions and inviting them into our hearts from where they may
be expressed through our actions. And so we live with a clearer
sense of purpose and authenticity.

I am a country-loving person and resonate with the Taoist view that we are a microcosm of the macrocosm,
and that the universe is composed of underlying basic principals of energy behaviour – or elemental forces.
I believe nature is our greatest teacher and that by observing the interplay of the web of life we can gain
insights into ourselves and others’.
I particularly love to do my practice in the mountains or by the sea and aim to bring that sense of spaciousness
and perspective into my daily family life and work.
My explorations of Natural Healing developed during the third year of my medical training, at which time
I also discovered Chi Kung and became interested in Taoist meditation. I was attuned to Usui Reiki master degree
and Karuna Reiki master degree a some time afterwards.
After a few years living simply and close to nature I moved with the children back to my homeland Wales.
I have studied Cosmic Healing with Master Mantak Chia and, more recently, Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Taoist meditation and
Chi Nei Tsang with Kris Deva North at the Tao Centre in London.

My journey started in my native Australia, I was part of a circle that explored the spiritual arts,
and on leaving in 1997 my path to taoism started. Looking for something similar in the UK I trained in
iridology, reiki, tarot and psychic development. I started shiatsu training at the Zen School in 2001
and discovered the taoist practices. I found the practices gave me tremendous grounding and insights,
allowing me to better accept myself and others.
Having worked in a competitive and male dominated industry for 15 years I felt I had lost touch with my feminine.
The Taoist practices have allowed me to open to and celebrate all the amazing things it means to be a woman.
The creative energy I have discovered has helped me develop an empowering relationship with my own body and
the healing potential it has for both myself and others. I am delighted by and continue to take inspiration
from all the wonderful people around me.
My taoist training journey with masters Kris Deva North and Saida Desilets has opened so many possibilities to me.
My practices include tai chi, chi kung, cosmic healing, tantra, yoga and shiatsu.
